Dream Zone's Diploma course is a flexible, part-time program, suitable for people who are already part of the Interior Design field such as Site supervisors, Vendor, related service consultants etc. They are aware of the practical aspects of this field (on-site work) but want to know the basics of technical drawings & presentation techniques (Office work)

Course Objective

To impart training on the basics of interior design.

The course teaches fundamental principles of interior design.

Students study one particular volume of book which covers the basic topics related to Interior Designing & master two software tools which help them to be a good draftsman.

  • Space planning & details of modular kitchen, bedroom, modern bath trends, small office, corporate guest room etc.
  • Residence design (2500-3000sft site area) with Interior design & detailing.
  • Theme based Commercial space design(3000-5000sft) like restaurants, cafe, boutique, Spa, Lounge bar, kindergarten etc
  • Market survey on building materials.
  • Vaasthu workshop.
  • Guest Lecture by professionals.
  • Industry Visits.
  • Opportunity to participate in Mega event.
  • Software Skill - Creative CAD, 3DS Max etc. with application of tools on real-time projects.

The learning is supported with practical project work, aided by lectures, seminars, workshops, and site visits. Experienced Architects/ Interior Designers give training to the students to make them competitive. Leading architects, interior designers and manufacturers address the students on the latest trends and techniques.

In total students complete about 140 practice sessions while participating in group and individual assignments, students gain tremendous knowledge about Interior designing & related topics. Students create real models. Industrial visit is an important component of the program wherein students visit live construction sites, and material factories. The basics of project planning too are taught.
